No, it’s not the pretty yellow or baby pink, nor is it the attractive blue, orange or green. No matter how angelic the child, the colour they will be most drawn to, like moths to a flame, is the darkest, most destructive, black.

Whenever they’ve lost interest in colouring conventional paper and decided to draw on their faces, clothes, or, even better, that lovely cotton cushion you just bought, it is always the black felt tip pen in hand. The thicker the better. Permanent? Hurrah!

Just chuck everything in the machine on a warm or cold wash and all the ink will disappear! You can even wash with your whites – our ink is so water soluble it’ll all come out completely clean.
